Exercise: Considering Lifestyle Choices for Maximum Results

A well rounded and comprehensive physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual approach is the best, if not, the only way to truly resolve and heal your trauma.

Most potential clients show up at my door with pain, unhealed injuries and are overly stressed due to their daily life choices.

Of course, exercise alone can improve the issue(s) but are normally inadequate or fall short over the long term.

With this scenario, I have to look beyond the neuro-musculoskeletal system (bones, muscles, nerves), as humans are not just mechanical in nature; we also have a mind, emotions and a spiritual expression too. Therefore, many physical challenges will need to be addressed from those deeper humanistic parts, as attempting to resolve back pain or any other physical trauma with exercise alone will not generally work as a permanent solution. Of course, exercise alone can improve the issue(s) but are normally inadequate or fall short over the long term.

The longer an issue is ignored, the more mental and emotional it becomes.

Almost all physical symptoms are rooted within the mental and emotional aspects of a human. Science states very clearly that any physical imbalance has been created from within the mind and experienced emotionally, which is then manifested or exhibited physically.

So, your body replicates the way you think and feel which can be seen or understood from the physical symptoms being displayed. There are exceptions to this rule if it’s more of a direct injury. However, 90% of physical breakdown is idiopathic (unknown cause over an extended period of time) and now needs a multidisciplinary approach as the longer an issue is ignored, the more mental and emotional it becomes.

So now, we approach the issue with diet, sleep, adequate clean water, breathing practices, meditation and even looking at work and relationships if you desire to go to that depth.

Body Intelligence

The body will intelligently push and direct stress away from the organs, glands and other vital functions for survival

The body is an intelligent entity, which heals on its own, (innate healing) when you know how to listen to the body’s calls to teach you wise and healthy choices. All your aches and pains are revealing to you, the self neglect and blatant disregard you choose to live, and the unhealthier someone is, the less self love they are giving themselves.

The body will intelligently push and direct stress away from the organs, glands and other vital functions, into the muscles and bones, as they are less important for our immediate survival than the organs etc. You can still remain alive with poor posture, pain and even losing a limb or two, but if you lose vital organ function, death comes knocking thus the body constantly alleviates the stress to preserve those vital tissues, and keep you breathing.

…musculoskeletal pain and degradation is the first indication of stress and if ignored or merely treated with drugs and or surgery, will ultimately result in more serious issues.

Suffice to say, if physical issues are left long enough, or physiological capacity diminishes beyond the body’s ability to heal, the organs and glands will not be able to indefinitely off load the stress into the musculoskeletal system, so then, the organs and glands will eventually breakdown.

Organs contain emotions, therefore in appreciating that concept, you can now understand why any physical issues you may have can cause emotional distress.

Now you see more clearly how most musculoskeletal pain and degradation is the first indication of stress and if ignored or merely treated with drugs and or surgery will ultimately result in more serious issues. I’m sure all those peeps who suffer from diabetes, fibromyalgia, arthritis, heart disease, cancer, etc, had musculoskeletal pain long before those serious issues showed up.

Let your musculoskeletal discomforts be a teacher and indicator of issues that run deeper within the body. You will then understand that your pain is not just resolved with physical intervention only, so you will always be on top of your health and never allow it to “go too far” into the organs.

A well rounded and comprehensive physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual approach is the best, if not, the only way to truly resolve and heal your trauma.
